Reaching the fixture from certified lift and platform access

A dead fixture over a lobby, a loading dock or a warehouse aisle is rarely a ladder job. The height, the floor below and the people moving through the space all decide how the work has to be done. Our in-house union crew reaches high fixtures with certified lift and platform access, set up with the same OSHA, ANSI I-14 and IWCA discipline we bring to glass on towers.

Atriums, lobbies, warehouses and ballrooms are the usual places. We coordinate timing with building management and set up barricades and signage at ground level, so tenants and visitors keep moving while the work goes on overhead.

Bulk relamp programs, and cleaning the fixture while it is open

Changing one bulb at a time means paying for lift access every time another one goes. A bulk relamp program replaces the lamps across a space in one visit, so the lift is set up once and the lighting comes back evenly instead of as a patchwork of old and new.

While the fixture is open, we clean it. Dust and film on lenses and housings cut the light a new bulb can give, so fixture cleaning belongs in the program, not after it. If you already book us for chandelier cleaning, high dusting or window work, the lift time can be planned together.

Old lamps and ballasts do not belong in the dumpster behind the building. We handle the safe disposal of the bulbs and ballasts we remove, so your facilities team does not end up with a pallet of spent tubes in a storage closet.
