Spikes, wire and netting at the spots birds keep choosing
Birds do not pick a ledge at random. They return to the same steel beam, canopy edge or atrium truss because it gives them a dry, sheltered place to sit, and the droppings stains below an entrance tell you the spot is already taken. Our crew installs anti-perch spikes and tension wire along ledges, sills, signage and rails so the surface stops being a place to land.
Where a perch cannot be blocked one ledge at a time, we net it. Netting closes off atriums, canopies and open structural steel so birds cannot reach the surface at all. We look at the building first, and the product we install is matched to the structure and to how the birds are using it.
Web removal and repellent on glass, entries and light fixtures
Spiders are the quieter half of the job. Webs gather around door frames, soffits, light fixtures and the upper corners of storefront glass, and they tend to return when a web is simply knocked down. We remove the webs and treat the surface with a repellent, which gives the entry a better chance of staying clear between visits.
Because the same in-house union crew washes glass and works at height, the high corners and canopy undersides that a ground-level pass would miss are reached on the same visit. Access is by certified lift and platform or by rope, under our OSHA, ANSI I-14 and IWCA program. Call (267) 534-5198 and tell us where the birds or webs show up.
A maintenance program so the building stays clear
One install handles the birds you have today. A maintenance program handles the next season. We check spikes, wire and netting for shifting or damage, remove fresh webs, and reapply repellent on a schedule set for the building, the same way most commercial properties set up two to four window cleanings a year.
Pricing follows building height, access method, frequency and scope, and every estimate is free. Send the address and a few photos of the problem areas and you get a clear, detailed proposal with no surprises, for buildings across Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
